Basic Units To Know
1 ml = 1 cc = 100 units
Conversion for mcg dosages:
1 mcg (microgram) = .001 mg (milligram)
1 mg = 1000 mcg

Units are the small graduation lines or ticks on a syringe.

Solving For Desired Units When Desired MG Dosage Is Known
Example:
• The desired dosage is 1mg.
• A 10mg vial of peptide is reconstituted with 1ml (100 units) of BAC Water.
• (100u Total BAC x 1mg Desired) / 10mg Vial
= 10u Dose
• So drawing 10 units from the vial will yield 1mg of peptide.
Solving For Desired MG When Units Is Known
For when you remember how many units were drawn, but don't remember how many milligrams that equaled.
Example:
• You know the last time 20 units were drawn. But how many milligrams was that?
• The desired mg is unknown.
• A 10mg vial of peptide is reconstituted with 1ml (100 units) of BAC Water.
• (10mg Vial x 20u dose) / 100u Total BAC
= 2mg Dose
• So, drawing 20 units from the vial will yield a 2mg dose of peptide.
Sound Smart, Be Smart
• ALWAYS refer to dosages in milligrams or micrograms, NEVER in units.
• Telling someone you took 20 units means nothing without also telling them the total original milligrams of peptide in the vial and the amount of BAC used to reconstitute it—aka, the concentration.
• It's like someone asking how far the drive was, and you say, "3 podcasts." That says nothing unless you also tell them how long each podcasts was and how fast you were driving. Then, they'd have to run a calculation. On the other hand, saying, "120 miles," answers the question. 😉
• Why is this important? Too many people overdose or under-dose because they relay and ask about dosages in terms of unknown concentrations (units), rather than actual weight of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (milligrams/micrograms).
